Meet the Vets
Bridget Schneiders BVSc(Hons) CertVR MRCVS
Bridget worked as House Surgeon at the Royal Veterinary College in London and then in Berkshire. She joined the Isle Valley Veterinary Group in 1988.
Qualifications:
- Batchelor in Veterinary Science - Liverpool University, 1984
- Small Animal Certificate in Veterinary Radiology
- Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons

Helen Kemp MA(Cantab) VetMB MRCVS
Helen spent 6 years with the RSPCA BBC Animal Hospital team at the Harmsworth Hospital. A transfer within the RSPCA brought Helen to Somerset where she worked with Pet Rescue. She lived in Sri Lanka working with sick and injured elephants and then in Mauritius running a dog neutering project. On return to Somerset she came to work at the Isle Valley Vets, spending most of her time at the Creech St Michael clinic. When not at work Helen is busy walking her dogs or riding her horse.

Victoria Altoft BVed Med MRCVS
Victoria graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 2002. She worked in a small animal practice in Leicestershire for three years before travelling around South America. Victoria joined the Isle Valley Vets in January 2006.

Pat Grant BVSc CertVD MRCVS LFHom(Vet)
Pat was one of the founding members of the practice. She has now returned on a part-time basis after a break to pursue her interest in complimentary medicine.

- Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology
- Licentiate of the Faculty of Homeopathy

Meet the Nurses
Allison Sherlock - Head Veterinary Nurse
Allison joined us after finishing her A-Levels and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997. Shortly afterwards she became Head Veterinary Nurse for the Group. She has a keen interest in preventative healthcare and rehabilitation and is training in physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. She enjoys riding and her horse Skippy is registered at the Isle Valley Equine Clinic.
Emma Bryan - Registered Veterinary Nurse
Emma joined us in January 2005 after qualifying as an Animal Nursing Assistant and completing a two year Diploma in Animal Care. She then continued her training at Isle Valley Veterinary Group becoming qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2007. Emma loves her role as a Veterinary Nurse and takes great pride in giving patients the nursing care that they require.
Kim Little - Registered Veterinary Nurse
Kim joined the practice in January 2006 after completing a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Care. She then qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in January 2009. Kim has worked voluntarily on veterinary projects abroad with the WVS. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary care and would like to specialise in surgical nursing in the future.
Jenny Penn - Receptionist and Nursing Assistant
Jenny joined Isle Valley Veterinary Group as an Animal Care Assistant and receptionist in 2005. Based at our Creech St Michael clinic, Jenny especially enjoys assisting in the care and treatment of the animals. When not at work Jenny can be found exercising her point to point horses or working as a qualified riding instructor.
Becky Price - Nursing Assistant
Becky started working for Isle Valley Vets in September 2008 after qualifying as an Animal Nurse Assistant. She is now working towards her NVQ in Veterinary Nursing and hope to qualify in summer 2010. Becky has always had an interest in animals and currently has a cat, a corn snake, a leopard gecko and a hedgehog.
Erica Cooke - Nursing Assistant
Erica joined the Small Animal team at the end of September 2008 and started studying for her Veterinary Nurse qualification. In her spare time Erica enjoys showing and breaking miniature Shetland ponies at her home on her family’s stud. Previously, she worked at an equine clinic near Sherbourne, which helped her expand her knowledge greatly and has helped especially with the breeding of the Shetlands.
