Caring for your pets for more than 35 years

Isle Valley Vets has two branches dedicated to caring for small animals – one at Stoke Sub Hamdon, near Yeovil, and the other at Creech St Michael, near Taunton. With up to date facilities and services at both branches we provide the very best in veterinary care for small animals. Our highly qualified team of vets and nurses are all small animal trained and have a lot of experience in treating sick and injured pets. All aspects of veterinary treatment are undertaken from preventative healthcare treatments such as vaccinations and worming programmes through to cardiac ultrasound, cruciate repairs and emergency caesarean operations.

Practice Standards

We are now members of ISFM: International society for feline medicine. ISFM is the veterinary division of international cat care, a charity dedicated to improving the health and welfare of cats worldwide. The ISFM ‘cat friendly clinic’ scheme means that accredited Veterinary clinics have reached a higher standard of cat care. We are delighted to announce that we have achieved gold level at our main practice in Stoke Sub Hamdon as well as reaching the silver standard at our Creech St Michael branch. We are an RCVS registered accredited practice at both our 2 small animal practices and our equine clinic. The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) is a voluntary initiative to accredit veterinary practices in the UK. Through setting standards and carrying out regular assessments, the Scheme aims to promote and maintain the highest standards of veterinary care. It offers peace of mind to clients of accredited practices and a more informed choice to the animal-owning public. Please click here for more details.
