If you and your pet find yourself in an emergency situation during our opening hours, please call ahead to advise us that you are attending the practice so that we can ensure we are ready for your arrival.

Our out of hours service is supplied by Somerset Veterinary Emergency Clinics, who are based at Quantock Vets. They have excellent equipment and facilities, and there will always be an experienced vet and vet nurse onsite to check on your pet.

If you have an emergency between 6.30pm-8.30am, please call us on 01935 310930 and your call will be diverted to their specialist emergency team. They will call you back and arrange an appointment or offer advice as needed.
OUT OF HOURS ANNOUNCEMENT
From 1st January 2023, the final part of our phased introduction to Quantock Veterinary Hospital out of hours service will take place.
As previously advised, our emergency work will be covered by Somerset Veterinary Emergency Clinic, which runs at Quantock Vets, Quantock Terrace, The Drove, Bridgwater TA6 4BA.
The emergency clinic will now provide ALL out of hours services for Isle Valley Vets.
This includes:
- Week day evenings from 6.30pm until 08.30am the following morning.
- Weekends from 1pm on a Saturday until 08.30am Monday morning.
- All Bank Holidays.
Our normal daytime services will remain unchanged.
From 1st January 2023 if you require emergency care for your pet out of hours, please call Somerset Veterinary Emergency Clinic on 01278 433585.
This is a very positive step forward, they are a specialist emergency veterinary team with emergency equipment at the practice, and a designated, experienced vet and nurse on site all night. We feel this service will offer our patients the best possible care outside of our normal working hours.
